A little help getting in.

Joining for the first time

Open the invitation your host sent, or choose an official public room. Check the community’s address, enter or confirm your guest name, read its rules, and join. Android, iPhone, and computer users can use the browser app.

An invitation does not work

Ask the person who invited you for a new link through the same channel they used to contact you. Invitations expire, can be revoked, and can be claimed by only one guest. Do not post your private invitation publicly. There is no central Threads password-reset service.

A public room is full or paused

The host may have reached its room capacity or daily joining limit, or paused new admissions. Try again later. Repeatedly creating identities does not bypass the host’s limits. Existing guests can continue using their admitted rooms unless the owner removes access.

Contacting the host

Already joined? Open Contact host in the guest app to send a private support request to that community’s owner. Include what you were trying to do and the error message, without passwords, access credentials, or private invitation links.

For general product questions, join Welcome & Help from the official rooms. It is a public conversation, so keep account and privacy details in the private Contact host form.

Reporting or deleting

Open a message’s actions to report it or block its author. Use Leave room to leave, or Delete account to revoke your access and request removal from the host’s active service. Check whether the app reports completed or pending deletion. Read the privacy notice before deciding.

Native app downloads

The iOS app is being prepared for TestFlight and App Store distribution. There is no public download yet. An Android app is planned after iOS; the browser version is available now. Official download links will appear on the Threads page.
